They discuss the film’s ways of contrasting European paganism — or at least, a modern conception of paganism — with Christianity, its influence on neo-pagan and New Right culture, and Tom Rowsell evaluates the film’s use of traditional pagan imagery and practices for their accuracy and meaning.
