France’s President Emmanuel Macron got slapped in the face on Monday by a man in a crowd of people who came to see the French leader during his visit to the village of Tain-l’Hermitage in southeastern France.

According to a report of the incident, the man shouted “Montjoie! Saint Denis!” and then something that sounded like “Down with Macron” before being tackled by Macron’s security detail.
