Today jurors in the homicide trial of Kyle Rittenhouse ended their second day of deliberations, having not reached a verdict in the case of the shootings in Kenosha on 25 August 2020. They will return to the courthouse on Thursday to begin day three of deliberations.
Earlier this week, Rittenhouse’s attorneys filed a motion for a mistrial – with prejudice, based on misconduct of state prosecutors during the cross-examination process.
