As recent court challenges to his unpopular federal vaccine mandate continue to pile-up against President Joe Biden, the White is now in full retreat from its previously audacious stance as the masters of the pandemic. 

Back in October 2020, while campaigning from his basement in Delaware in response to COVID-19 then candidate Biden boldly announced, “I’m not going to shut down the country. I’m not going to shut down the economy – I’m going to shut down the virus.”

Back then he swore that he would somehow ‘stop Covid-19 in its tracks.’ But with numerous states and tens of millions of Americans now in full rebellion against federal overreach, and rejecting failing policies, Biden’s old swagger is a mere shadow of a previous epoch.

Today, Biden backed down from previous COVID decrees as he informed governors during a conference call that it will be up to the states to deal with what’s left of the pandemic.

When asked by one state governor, Asa Hutchinson (R) from Arkansas, about whether the President would still insist on imposing his federal diktats to solve the myriad of problems associated with COVID and the economic fallout, Biden conceded that, “There is no federal solution …. This gets solved at the state level.”
