This is the real story of Twitter – a tangled web of lies, betrayals, and money, as well as the monstrous egos the Silicon Valley. It all begins in 2005, with a little start-up called Odeo, an ambitious tech start up which hoped to become the home of podcasting on the internet, and where users could record and share their audio files. But this would soon pivot to Twitter – a decision would set in motion a series of seismic events and legendary betrayals by the Twitter founders, as they compete to control this new micro blogging empire. This short documentary tells the behind the scenes story, largely based on the book Hatching Twitter. Watch:
